Family sessions start at $325 for a one hour session and include a download of the naturally edited images.

What should we wear?
I tend to say the easiest way to go about this is to pick a pattern for one of the youngsters to wear and then build everyone else’s outfit off of that. For instance, maybe you have a pretty flowered dress for your daughter with gold, maroon, and green in it. Pick something for everyone else using those colors! I wouldn’t go too crazy on the patterns as solid colors are usually best, but coordinating accents photograph very well. You can get creative bringing in those colors in accessories like shoes, earrings, and scarves. Pick something you feel great in and that you’ve gotten compliments on before! You can get some great outfit ideas by searching “What to wear Wednesday” on the internet too.
What location do you suggest?
I shoot mostly outdoors at parks or at people’s homes. I have a great list of ideas and sample photos from locations I love to shoot at if you need guidance!
How far do you travel?
I travel anywhere within 30 miles of my home just north of Columbus Ohio for free. After that, I charge per mile, so just check with me for a quote!
Do you charge extra for more people?
No, I like to keep it simple. :-)
What happens after the session?
After your session, I will apply natural edits to your images. This usually takes 2-3 weeks, but I can share a few with you while you wait. When natural edits are finished, I’ll upload them to a personal gallery that you can share with family. You will be able to download all your images from there and order any prints or special products that you want. If you want more advanced edits to any of your photos (like skin smoothing, flyaway taming, etc.), you can tell me which images you want edited for an additional $10 per image. I will make those final edits and upload the finished images to your gallery link.
I order from a professional printer that uses archival quality inks and high quality paper for longevity. You are not obligated to buy products with your session, but I love to see clients enjoying their session in print, not JUST on digital screens, so I highly encourage it.
What is the difference between natural edits and final edits?
Natural edits enhance color and balance the lighting of the image. They give the image a natural, yet beautiful look.
Final edits are more advanced edits that give the image a polished look. They include skin smoothing, removal of flyaways, head switches, and many more options.
